Will I illustrate your book?
Maybe! I’ve illustrated two books so far in 2026. My schedule fills up quickly. A whole book takes four to five months, depending on how complex it is and how far along you are. You can view my portfolio here and my illustration rate sheet here.
Will I design your book cover?
Maybe! I’ve done four covers so far in 2026. My schedule fills up quickly. It takes up to two weeks, depending on how complex it is and how far along you are. Will I publish your book?
Maybe! PV&J Media started as the home for the P&V Are Kittens series. As that project grew, we discovered a community of people full of beautiful book ideas. From blank page to print, we are a wildly creative partner and a startup mindset. If you have a children’s book you’d like help publishing, I would be glad to talk to you about whether we’re a fit. Here’s my publishing rate sheet. Every project has its own custom details but the rate sheet should give you an idea if it’s in the neighborhood of your budget. Will I speak at your event?
Maybe! I am doing one to two events a week currently, and speak on entrepreneurship, creativity, art, writing, and technology. If you’re in Southern California and I have a slot free, I’d be happy to consider your event or program.
Will I visit your school?
Probably! P&V and the Ice Pop Bath is a clean, wholesome, fun read-aloud that is a fabulous excuse to eat ice pops.
Will I blurb your book?
Maybe! If it feels aligned with my brand. Regardless, I hope your book is a smashing success!
Will I draw you as a cat?
Quite possibly! Is it free? Sometimes. If we’re working on a project together or if I love you very much, chances are very high that you will be turned into a cat. If I don’t know you, I could be bribed with the purchase of a book from my website (this one, yes) or a small fee.
